Many of us take our vehicle’s Brakes and braking systems for granted – after all, these two most important aspects of vehicle safety tend to keep working fine for years. To ensure this continues, period checks should be made to ensure they have sufficient wear left and that the system its self is in good condition. More modern vehicles come with brake-wear sensors fitted and providing this works, a dashboard warning light will indicate that attention is needed. Please be advised that constant wear and tear can work the brake sensors’ wiring loose, leaving you with a false sense of security. At selected Rapid Fit branches, we will perform a brake check at one of our Tyre & Brake Check Clinics – FREE – and that way, you’re not left hoping.
